Invitations for Bids, Proposals


The City of Driggs, Idaho is accepting sealed bids at the business office of the City Clerk, 60 S Main St, until 1 P.M., prevailing local time, August 13, 2020 for the following project:


At 1:05 P.M. on the same day all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Conference Room, 60 S Main Street.

The project consists of the construction of new sidewalk (approx. 163 SY), new concrete entrance (approx. 800 SF), ADA ramps (2), curbing (approx. 350 LF), asphalt patching (approx. 375 SY), water/electrical/communication relocations in the southwest corner of the Colter Parking Lot, adjacent to the new commercial building at 39 W. Little Avenue currently under construction, including base and sub-base, irrigation, utility trenching and conduit. The project also includes demolition of the existing concrete, minor asphalt sawcut and removal, traffic control and other items per project drawings and specifications.

Bid forms, bidding instructions and conditions, contract documents, plans and specifications may be obtained at Driggs City Hall, 60 S Main Street, for a non-refundable fee of $20.00, or downloaded below.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1 P.M., local time, on July 29, 2020 at Driggs City Hall, 60 S Main St.

Idaho Public Works Licenses are not required to bid but are required prior to contract award.

This project is partially funded by an Idaho Department of Commerce Block Grant and is subject to certain grant conditions, including non-discrimination, and Davis Bacon Wage Act requirements. Bidders and Contractors must comply with the requirements set forth in the project specifications. Please contact the City for clarification and applicability.

The City of Driggs, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 2964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 hereby notifies all bidders that no bidder will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability in consideration for an award.

Any objections to the contents or terms of the Specifications shall be raised to the City of Driggs at least three (3) days prior to bid opening or it shall be deemed to have been waived.

The City reserves that right to reject any and all bids.

RFB - Three Type 'C' School Buses for Grand Targhee Shuttle (Revised and Re-Issued)




City of Driggs, an incorporated municipality in the State of Idaho and recipient of FTA capital funding, is inviting bids from qualified vendors for three (3) new Type ‘C’ School Buses with minimum 48 passenger capacity, with ADA lifts, GVW not greater than 26,000 pounds, and meeting the additional specifications contained in the RFB. Vehicles will be used for the Grand Targhee Resort shuttle service. Sealed bids are due to the City of Driggs, 60 S Main Street, Driggs, ID 83422, by noon on July 23, 2020.
