DEPOT STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Description and Purpose: This project, a top priority of the Driggs Urban Renewal Agency, will construct asphalt parking lanes, storm water improvements, sidewalks, street trees and lighting improvements. The sidewalk improvements will extend to and connect with the Huntsman Springs / County Courthouse sidewalk. Plans and bid documents may be viewed on the bid page.
Funding: This project is funded by a State of Idaho Local Strategic Initiatives grant (administered through the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council), along with an Idaho Transportation Department grant (Federal Transportation Alternatives Program) with a local match paid for through Urban Renewal District tax increment financing and city sales tax.
Schedule: The project will begin construction on July 16, 2018 and is expected to be completed by the third week of September. Click here for the schedule pdf.

July 10, 2018: An updated project schedule was submitted by the contractor.
May 25, 2018: A Pre-Construction meeting is scheduled for 10am, Friday June 29 at Driggs City Hall.The project activities, schedule and traffic control plan will be reviewed and discussed. Adjacent property owners and businesses are encouraged to attend.
May 12, 2018: The construction contract has been awarded to DePatco.
