INVITATION TO BID
The City of Driggs, Idaho is accepting sealed bids at the business office of the City Clerk, 60 S Main St, until 11 A.M., prevailing local time, April 25, 2018 for the following project:
HOWARD AVENUE SIDEWALK
At 11:05 A.M. on the same day all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Conference Room, 60 S Main Street.
The project consists of the construction of approximately 9000sf of concrete sidewalk, including base and sub-base, 5 ADA curb ramps, 2163sf of asphalt driveway, 152sf of valley gutter, landscape and irrigation restoration, along Howard Avenue between 5th Street and 2nd Street in the City of Driggs, Teton County, Idaho, and includes minor asphalt sawcut and removal and other items per project drawings and specifications.
The bid package, plans and specifications may be downloaded from the bottom of this page or obtained in print form at Driggs City Hall, 60 S Main Street, for a non-refundable fee of $20.00.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11 A.M., local time, on April 11, 2018 at Driggs City Hall, 60 S Main St.
Idaho Public Works Licenses are not required to bid but are required prior to contract award.
This project is partially funded by a Federal grant is subject to certain Federal grant conditions, including non-discrimination, buy American, and Davis Bacon Wage Act requirements. Bidders and Contractors must comply with the requirements set forth in the project specifications. Please contact the City for clarification and applicability.
The City of Driggs, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 2964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally –assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability in consideration for an award.
Any objections to the contents or terms of the Specifications shall be raised five (5) days prior to bid opening or it shall be deemed to have been waived.
The City reserves that right to reject any and all bids.
